dao is continuously looking for delivery workers for distribution in Zealand.

About the jobAs a delivery worker at dao, you make sure that our customers’ newspapers, letters, magazines and parcels are delivered accurately and on time – directly to the door or letterbox. We work 365 days a year, and deliveries take place during the night. This means that you must be comfortable working night shifts. As a delivery worker, you represent dao when you deliver the customers’ products perfectly to their door or letterbox.

Your tasks:

• Load your vehicle (car, scooter or bicycle) with the products of the day.
• Drive your route and deliver precisely to the customers.
• Work at a high pace to meet deadlines.
• Ensure thorough and correct delivery.

You will receive thorough training from an experienced colleague and have daily sparring with our operations managers.

Working hours:

• 20–32 hours per week spread over 6 days – depending on the available arrangement at the time of employment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work independently and keep agreements.
• Is meticulous, reliable and takes pride in delivering correctly.
• Thrives when working at night.
• Can communicate in Danish or English (we have an international team).

You will start at the depot by packing your own products. At the depot, you will also meet your colleagues who are getting ready to go out on their routes.

We can offer both full-time and part-time employment under a collective agreement.

You will be delivering to many different addresses during the night. Therefore, you must be able to read and understand Danish addresses and house numbers. You must be thorough and conscientious, because it is important that everyone receives the correct mail at their address.

We will make sure you are trained so that you get started quickly and easily. Since you will be working in all kinds of weather, you will receive equipment and clothing suitable for the weather conditions. You must be prepared to work on public holidays and during festive seasons as well.

You must work in accordance with the Danish Postal Act (Postloven). This means, among other things, that all mail must be handled professionally and confidentially and delivered with high quality to the correct recipient – on time.
